HOW TO DESIGNReady to move up to custom tokens? Make your arcade tokens, car wash tokens or pachislo tokens branded to your company. Place your logo on one side and one of our stock token designs on the other. All it takes is a 1-time die charge of $195 (per side) and an idea of what you want your token to look like. We try to make customization easy as possible. Just email your logo and instructions and we’ll do the rest. Can’t email? Go ahead and send it however you can. The US Postal service does a great job delivering to Cincinnati. Image ConsiderationsOften the images found on the Internet lack the quality and detail needed to make high quality tokens. You’ll get the best looking tokens by sending large digital files. Not sure about your art? Send what you have and let us take a look. So for those of you who are computer savvy and want to get great looking tokens, Adobe Illustrator is the best for token design, but no placed images please. Photoshop art works fine for logos too! If all you have is a .JPG, go ahead and send it and we’ll see what we can do. Digital art files should be at least 300 DPI. Unless absolutely necessary, don’t compress images (zip, arc, sit, etc.), as it can create artifacts and data errors. Font ConsiderationsOsborne is PC based so font handling is different than in the Mac environment. To avoid font issues, be sure to convert all fonts to outlines. Artists always ask how small the type can be. The answer is that if you can read a word in print, you can read it on a coin. We recommend proofing art at actual coin size because things look very different when you shrink them down. |
